1) Upon receipt of the membership card/key tags (the “Card”), member agrees to be bound by the program rules, terms and conditions.
2) Rewards (the “Points”) are earned by making qualified purchases of products and services only at Valley Chevrolet of Wilkes-Barre and Valley Chevrolet Service Complex, Wilkes-Barre.
3)  Members must present valid membership Card at time of purchase or service performed in order to get the one-time 25 points in service and/or 150 points in sales.
4) Each of the Points earned is equal to one dollar in award discounts.
5) Qualified purchases include retail parts, service, maintenance and accessories, New or pre-owned vehicle purchases.
6) Program is limited to a maximum award redemption level of 150 Points towards vehicle purchase and 25 points towards services or parts. With use of card – service dept. will give 10% off all retail services performed. (some exclusions apply – see service manager for details).
7)  Membership expires 5 years from the original membership start date. Accumulated Points must be used prior to membership expiration or the Points will be forfeited.
8)  Membership and Points may not be transferred from account to account. At no time can Members pool accumulated Points to increase standings. Membership and Points cannot be sold, bartered, brokered or transferred for any reason including death and domestic matters. Membership and Points have no cash value.
 9) Member’s Points standings can be checked at any Dealership Points scan terminal or online @ www.gmpreferredowner.com or follow the link @ www.valleychevrolet.com.
10)  When redeeming Points towards a vehicle purchase, qualified service / maintenance or retail part members must present a valid membership Card containing their accumulated Points with proper identification.
11)   Only one account’s Points may be redeemed per vehicle purchase or service/ maintenance or retail parts.
12)  Points have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
13)  Membership cards remain the property of the Dealership and must be surrendered upon request.
14)  Participation in the Preferred Owner Program is offered at the sole discretion of the Dealership and may be terminated at any time without prior notice.
15) The Dealership reserves the right to disqualify any person(s) from participation; if in its sole judgment the member violates the rules, terms and regulations governing this program. In the event disqualification or program termination, accumulated Points will be immediately terminated.
16)   All members must be 18 years of age to participate.
17)  Accumulated Points may not be redeemed if you are in default under the terms and conditions of these rules or with any obligation which may be due the Dealership.
18)  Determination of income or tax liability related to the participation in this program is the sole responsibility of the participating member. Neither General Motors, the Dealership nor any affiliates make any representation as the current or future tax consequences to the participating member as to the crediting, transferring, use, redemption, or disposition of program earnings.
19) The program has no pre-determined termination date. The program may be terminated at any time with out prior notice at the wishes of the Dealership or its affiliates.
20) Dealership and GM reserve the rights to audit all accounts for compliance with these rules. In the event the audit reveals discrepancies, the processing of the program earnings may be delayed until such discrepancies are resolved. The Dealership reserves the right to make any and all decisions as to the validity of accumulated Points. All decisions considered final.  
21)   Corporations, partnerships, and or other entities may not be eligible to participate.
22)   Program Points redemption is not combinable with any and all GM Vehicle Purchase Programs including and not limited to: GM Employee Purchase, GM Dealership Employee Purchase and GM Supplier Purchase. Dealership reserves the right to determine redemption eligibility.
 23)   Program Points redemption is not combinable with any other discount offers. Dealership reserves the right to determine redemption eligibility.
24)   Nothing in these rules or in the program shall be construed to establish an agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between the Dealership, GM or any other party. GM nor the Dealership is not responsible and assumes no liability for changes in or discontinuance of a Dealership service, which may affect the program benefits.
25) The program has no pre-determined termination date. The program may be terminated at any time with-out prior notice at the wishes of the Dealership or its affiliates.
26)     The Dealership and GM reserve the right to change the program rules at any time without prior notice to members.
